Fairview House is a seven bedroom house on a quiet lane in Tideswell, half a mile from the village centre, built for one big group under one roof. It sleeps 14: three king rooms, three double rooms and a twin, with three bathrooms between them.
Downstairs there is a large AGA kitchen, a dining room with a table that seats all fourteen of you and an open fire, and a lounge with a wood burner. Upstairs, beyond the bedrooms, is a games room with a full size pool table and table football. Outside, the hot tub sits in a landscaped garden with a patio for eating out, and beyond the garden is a quarter acre field for dogs and children. There is off street parking for several cars.
Tideswell is a working Peak District village rather than a tourist stop. Two pubs, a cafe and a handful of shops are a short walk from the door, and the church is known locally as the Cathedral of the Peak. The Monsal Trail starts a few minutes away for traffic free walking and cycling, Chatsworth House and Bakewell are twenty minutes by car, and Castleton, Mam Tor and Stanage Edge are all within half an hour.
We run the house ourselves and are nearby if you need us. Dogs are welcome, celebrations are welcome, and if you want a tipi in the field for a bigger gathering, ask us when you enquire.

Additional Information: Dogs are welcome by arrangement, up to four, so please tell us how many when you enquire. Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. No smoking inside. Parties and celebrations are welcome, and we ask that you tell us your plans when you book so we can make sure the house is set up for you. For larger gatherings we can arrange a tipi in the field. Check in from 4pm, check out by 10am.
