With an outdoor hot tub (covered), The Haven is a popular choice for couples (one or two) as well as families. Sleeping up to four guests in a double and twin bedroom, The Haven offers comfy accommodation and sits on the edge of the Peak District's glorious national park in the tranquil village of Two Dales in Derbyshire. Enjoy the convenience of strolling to the The Plough Inn for your supper (or a little further and a ten minute walk to Barrington's Pub with its restaurant), the village store for forgotten provisions and Coates butchers for your breakfast sausages (try their home-made pies and sausage rolls!).
Welcoming with lots of extra thoughtful touches, guests can immediately start to relax at The Haven with an afternoon tea provided upon arrival. Harmoniously presented with soft hues of beige and blue to create a restful yet fresh atmosphere, modern conveniences are perfectly blended with character features such as beams and stonework to enhance the country feel complemented by countryside views. Both the living space and bedrooms (including bathroom) are on the same ground-floor level possibly making The Haven suitable for those with limited mobility, and beds have snuggly deep memory foam mattresses topped with crisp Egyptian cotton linen to ensure a restful nights sleep.
Sandwiched between Bakewell and Matlock, Two Dales is a great base for discovering the areas many attractions. Encapsulated by rolling Derbyshire countryside, Two Dales is a haven for wildlife and a very good holiday destination for lovers of the great outdoors. Lace up your walking boots and enjoy super walks straight from the front door with the Peak District's open moorland beckoning and accessible just a little way out of the village. For those who enjoy cycling, make sure you bring your bike as there are miles of country lanes and off-road trails to explore in the surrounding countryside and if all that sounds too energetic, there are plenty of attractions and places to visit. Buxton, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are just a few of the areas most popular day trips out.
The Peak District National Park is blessed with some of the country's most beautiful scenery with an impressive 500 square miles to explore. Attracting holiday makers from far and wide, it is hardly surprising that the Peak District is the most visited of all the UK's national parks with its magnificent peaks, undulating hills and picturesque sleepy villages just waiting to welcome you.
