Sleeping 24 this house has magnificent views over Morecambe Bay. Ideal for several families holidaying together or a large group of friends. The house is ideally placed in an area of outstanding natural beauty just on the edge of the lake district. One of the best sunset views in the world is in winter over the bay when the tide has been out long enough for some of the sand to dry.
Silverdale is located on the north of Morecambe Bay on the border of Cumbria and Lancashire in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is surrounded by ancient woodland and is perfectly situated as a base to explore the surrounding area and the southern Lakes. The garden extends to over an acre with large lawn areas and patches of woodland. There is a large patio area at the front of the house with tables and chairs for 24 people, a large gas BBQ, and panoramic views of the Bay. There is an electric Hot tube with seating for 7 people with views over the bay situated next to an all weather seating and table tennis area.
The house has a large open plan kitchen and dining area with views of over the Bay, perfect for entertaining large groups of people. There is a large downstairs living room with a fireplace, large TV with full subscription Sky Q inc Sky Movies, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and extra movies. The upstairs living room adjoins the games room equipped with a full sized pool table, Sky Q tv, and seating for 9 people.
All of the 11 bedrooms are rather spacious. 6 bedrooms have on-suite/private bathrooms, 3 of the other bedrooms are next door to one of the 3 other family bathrooms. The two loft bedrooms share a family bathroom on the first floor. In total there are 9 bathrooms an indoor jacuzzi room and a downstairs toilet. The house has many luxurious features including a large indoor jacuzzi bath and 3 electronic steam showers. In addition to the living areas mentioned the house has four other large reception rooms including a study room with a piano, a chess room, a library room, a yoga orangery, a pantry, and a utility room with a washer and dryer.
Full fibre broadband Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. All of the beds are made up with fresh bed linen. The following basic essentials are included: toilet roll, hand soap, cleaned hand towels(no large bath towels), washing up powder, kitchen roll, dishwashing powder, washing up liquid and cloths, oven gloves, and kitchen towels. The house has parking for roughly 10 to 12 cars. 2 high chairs and 2 travel cots are available at the house (cot sheet and blanket are not included). We don't provide large bath towels.
