Manston Court is a historic group holiday rental on the Kent coast where up to 22 guests can stay across three neighbouring properties: The Chapel, Annie's Cottage and Well Cottage. Between them there are five bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and several living spaces, giving extended families and groups room to spread out without losing the sociable feel of a shared stay. The Chapel is the natural gathering point, with a huge 40-foot sitting room, full-size pool table, baby grand piano, game consoles and four sofas. Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen and dining area has a six-foot oak table and breakfast bar, while the private garden adds an atmospheric outdoor dining area with built-in seating and gentle evening lighting. The two smaller cottages give guests their own space nearby, which works particularly well for multi-generational celebrations, groups of friends, and special weekends away.
The three properties are within the private grounds of Manston Court, on the edge of Manston village in Thanet. Despite the quiet surroundings, the coast is close: Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate are all around four miles away, putting sandy beaches, seaside restaurants, independent shops and days beside the water within easy reach. Westwood Cross, about two miles away, has shops, restaurants and a cinema. Two aviation attractions are even closer. The RAF Manston History Museum and the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum are around half a mile from Manston Court, making them an easy local outing. Golfers have plenty of course options around Thanet, while the Viking Coastal Trail offers miles of cycling and coastal scenery.
There is plenty to fill a longer stay too. Margate combines classic seaside fun with Turner Contemporary and galleries around the Old Town and Harbour Arm, while Broadstairs hosts events including Dickens celebrations, Folk Week and its food festival. Deal, Dover and Walmer add castles and maritime history to the mix, and nature reserves around Sandwich and Ramsgate provide a change of pace from the beaches. Canterbury is within easy driving distance for its cathedral, heritage streets, shops and restaurants, with Dover and Folkestone also accessible for a day out. Back at Manston Court, private off-road parking, WiFi and an EV charging point make group logistics refreshingly straightforward.

The Chapel has a private garden with an unusual old flint, stone and brick alcove adapted as an outdoor dining area, with built-in seating, two dining tables and gentle lighting. Annie's Cottage has a seating area outside the front of the cottage, while Well Cottage also has its own outdoor seating area. Private off-road parking is available outside or close to each property. EV/hybrid vehicle charging point is available.
Additional Information
WiFi is available in all three properties, with 5G connectivity. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request. Well Cottage offers the easiest access of the three properties and is all on one level. Its front door is wide enough for wheelchair entry, and the en-suite has a walk-in shower, but the gravel drive and internal layout may make it unsuitable for guests who use a wheelchair. Those with specific mobility requirements should check suitability with the owner before booking. No pets. No smoking inside. The owners are happy to provide an ash tray and an umbrella for guests who kindly smoke outside.
