The Coach House sits quietly in the grounds of Cedar House with views of the orchard and the village of Old Cleeve near Minehead. Guests have all the peace and privacy they desire for their self-catering holiday in Somerset.
The cottage's two bedrooms easily sleep up to four people, with a flexible layout that makes it ideal for couples, families and friends. We are now accepting 2 well behaved dog £25 per stay . We have an enclosed patio area with table, chairs also washing line, we have no children play equipment as its a courtyard garden. We ask owner to not allow the dog to roam free due to the livestock, you dog is not to be left alone at the Coach House ( most pubs and cafe take dogs) please make sure flea and tick treatment is up to date. and don't forget the dog bed and for towels all our beaches are dog friendly in the winter!
Old Cleeve is a pretty village in a rural location that is only a mile from the beach at Blue Anchor. Footpaths and cycling routes lead to stunning views, and being on the edge of the Exmoor National Park opens up miles of spectacular landscape to explore. Your holiday can be filled with relaxing walks through countryside lanes or along the coastal footpath, surfing and lazing on the beach, exploring historic sites such as Dunster Castle, or hiking and mountain biking through hills and rugged terrain.
West Somerset is a fantastic choice for a holiday as it is so easy to reach via car or train, including from Wales, the Midlands and London. In addition to beautiful beaches such as Minehead and Blue Anchor, there are picturesque towns and villages like Dunster, Lynton and Lynmouth, and plenty of cafes and country pubs serving up the best local produce.
Somerset attractions include the West Somerset Railway, Cleeve Abbey at Washford, Dooney Valley, Porlock Weir, and Selworthy Village. Somerset loves a festival and there is an exciting calendar of events running all year round, with everything from food and music festivals to celebrations of cheese, spring carnivals and parades of light.
The Coach House is one of three beautiful holiday cottages on the estate, and these can be hired together to accommodate up to ten people. Providing an excellent standard of hospitality comes naturally to the owners, who also offer award-winning B&B accommodation in their elegant Edwardian home. They are very happy to help with advice about the local area to help their guests make the most of their stay.

The Coach House is a lovely Edwardian property originally built to house the Estate's coachman and his family. The owners have updated it with an eye on its history and their guests comfort in mind. It is next to an orchard and enjoys beautiful countryside views.
