Explore the wildness of the Highlands from this listed cottage on the NC500 in the thriving village of Brora with a stunning coastline and gorgeous beaches, golf courses and a huge variety of places to visit.
Dog-friendly with an enclosed garden, there are 2 upstairs bedrooms with a third bedroom/family room downstairs with a double sofa bed.
Brora offers tremendous scope for visitors, with a great range of activities and places to visit, all nearby. There are cafés and restaurants, including a Chinese and an Indian take-away plus two pubs, and a pizza/fish & chip shop all within easy reach of the cottage. There is a Co-op with EV charging points a five-minute walk away, near a pharmacy and gift shops, and a petrol station is just a mile or so towards the north, on the way to driving through villages and other beauty spots all the way to John O'Groats if you wish!
Going south on the A9 takes you to Golspie, Tain, Dornoch, the fabulous Dunrobin Castle, the Glenmorangie distillery - hundreds of local highlights to visit from a Brora base.
To the west, there's Loch Brora with many trails and wild swimming potential, exploring by car, bike or on foot, or keep it very local and go east - just 10 minutes to the huge beach that stretches for miles each way up and down the coast.
For golfers, the famous James Braid Brora Links Golf Course is just across from the harbour, positioned in a spectacular location above the multiple-award-winning Brora beach, which can also be enjoyed by non-golfers, of course.
