This delightful Cottage spreads over two lovely levels, offering plenty of space for you to unwind. Perfectly cosy for two, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway.
As you step into the charming cottage, you'll notice the lovely wooden beams that give the ground floor such a warm, inviting feel. The kitchen is a lovely space, fully equipped to whip up your favourite meals, and it flows nicely into the dining area for those delightful dinners. The spacious living room beckons with its two comfy sofas, perfect for curling up with a good book or catching up with loved ones. And let’s not forget the log-effect fire, creating a cosy atmosphere, along with the TV for those movie nights!
Our lovely cottage enjoys a sunny south-facing position and features patio doors that open up to a beautiful shared garden. It's the perfect spot to sit back and soak in the lovely surroundings! We’ve even provided some garden furniture for you to relax on. If you're in the mood for a delicious outdoor feast, just ask, and we can provide a charcoal BBQ for you to enjoy!
Upstairs, you’ll find traditional wooden beams that add a lovely character to the space, and there's a delightful low beam in the bedroom. The bedroom, has a comfy king-size bed just waiting for you to sink into, along with plenty of storage options for all your belongings. If you’re looking for extra sleeping space, there's a handy fold-out bed tucked away in the living room. And let's not forget, the bathroom is en-suite, complete with a lovely bath where you can soak and unwind.

Barn Cottages is the ideal location for exploring Suffolk, whether it be the beautiful heritage coast which has the lovely seaside towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpness or the rural towns and villages. Bury St Edmunds is a lovely town with a Cathedral and its abbey gardens, it is renowned for it great food, whether it be dining in one of the many restaurants or cafes, or selecting produce from the local market which is held on a Wednesday and Saturday, or enjoy a local pint of Green King beer in one of the pubs. Rural Suffolk also has some beautiful historic villages, which are lovely for a stop off whilst out walking or cycling or for having time to unwind and relax whilst exploring the delights of Suffolk. Some other local attractions are Helmingham Hall Gardens, Framlingham Castle, Ixworth House & Mid Suffolk Light Railway museum.
Barn Cottage No 1 is available for short breaks during low season and weekly breaks during peak season, but please always contact us as we might be able to accommodate you. Barn Cottages also has other holiday cottages at the same location, Barn Cottage No 4 is also advertised on Independent Cottages.
