The Farmhouse at Llwyngloddaeth is a holiday cottage like no other, ideal for families or groups of friends looking to create lasting memories together. Recently refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, it seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comforts, providing spacious rooms and cosy spots for everyone to relax. The open-plan kitchen and dining area, which can seat up to 17 when booked alongside The Farmhouse's sister property, The Barn, is perfect for large gatherings—be it for special occasions or simply to enjoy time with loved ones. Picture yourself curled up by one of the farmhouse’s two wood burners, playing a game of chess in the sitting room, or watching a movie with the kids in the TV room. With WiFi throughout the house, even those needing to stay connected will feel right at home.

One of the standout features of this farmhouse is its breathtaking location in the Mawddach Estuary. Imagine waking up to panoramic views from the conservatory that stretch to the mountains beyond. For outdoor lovers or those who enjoy a peaceful stroll, this area is a dream come true. Some of Wales' best walking trails begin just steps from the house, and Barmouth’s sandy beaches are only a five-minute drive away. Spend your days exploring the scenic Mawddach Trail by bike, hiking through the stunning landscapes, or enjoying a leisurely walk along the estuary. If you're in the mood for a bit of local flavour, Barmouth offers a charming selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants waiting to be explored.

A self-catering holiday in Eryri National Park gives you the freedom to set your own pace. The farmhouse’s well-equipped kitchen, complete with two ovens and a boiling water tap, makes meal preparation a breeze, whether you’re cooking for a crowd or putting together a quick breakfast before heading out. Accommodation Comprises:

Accommodation at The Farmhouse is child-friendly, pet-friendly, and spread across two beautifully decorated levels.

Downstairs:

  • Huge open plan kitchen featuring two ovens, two dishwashers, a double fridge/freezer, and a boiling water tap, as well as all the equipment and utensils you need to cook and serve meals to big groups of hungry guests. A woodburner and an island with five stools make it the informal heart of the home where people will gather happily to chat and cook.
  • Dining room featuring a massive table to seat up to a dozen people with ease. Where better to discuss the day's adventures and your plans for tomorrow?
  • Escape to the peace of the conservatory to enjoy a quiet cuppa against the backdrop of beautiful views.
  • Get out the backgammon or challenge a friend to a game of chess in the sitting room. The spacious reception room also has two sofas, three armchairs, a piano, and a wood burner.
  • Kids gravitate to the TV room for its 48-inch TV and comfortable seating. There is a discrete desk and chair in here for any guests who need to stay in touch with work during their stay.

Upstairs:

  • All five bedrooms are upstairs, including the gorgeous master bedroom furnished with a king-sized bed.
  • Bedroom Two is neatly tucked under the eaves and has two single beds.
  • Bedroom Three is flexible, with three single beds or one super-king (6ft-wide) and one full-sized single bed. Please let the owner know the layout you require when booking.
  • Bedrooms Four and Five are also flexible, with either twin single or one double bed.
  • Two shower rooms mean there's no queue for those who love to freshen up with a shower.
  • A separate bathroom has a shower over the bath, giving guests the option of a lovely soak.

Outside: Kids and pets can play safely in the enclosed garden with a lockable pond. It's beautifully landscaped with lots of space to socialise and quiet corners to enjoy a peaceful moment. If that's not enough room in which to stretch your legs, there are 12 acres of fields and woods! The Farmhouse has off-street parking for two cars, with a further two parking spaces 20 metres away at The Barn.

Additional Information: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement if they follow the house rules. Guests staying in The Farmhouse have use of The Barn's utility room. WiFi, utilities, bed linen and bath towels are all included.
