Coed Haroldston offers three beautifully presented Five Star stone holiday homes that are located in an enviable position just two hundred yards from the glorious Blue Flag beach of Broad Haven within the picturesque Pembrokeshire National Park. Formerly part of Haroldston Hall Country House, the properties have been beautifully restored to provide a high standard of comfort and style whilst retaining the historic charm of the original buildings.
Meaning "woods' in Welsh, Coed is true to its word and adjoins a large area of dense woodland that is abundant with wildlife with bats, badgers, plenty of different birds and even slow-worms. The cottages sit at the end of a private drive which makes a wonderful vista as it takes you along the track to the golden sands and glistening blue water at the other end. Stroll to the beach as the sun sets when most people have gone home, or go there as soon as you awake to enjoy breakfast listening to the waves lap up against the shore.
Pembrokeshire is famed for its incredible wildlife, coastal footpath (accessed just two hundred yards from the cottages) and glorious golden clean beaches - so many in fact that they are rarely crowded. It's waters are teeming with marine life and provide the perfect playground for those who enjoy kayaking, surfing and adventure sports such as coasteering.
Spend your days visiting the historic castles Wales is so famed for; Britain's smallest city, St Davids with its lovely shops, colourful buildings and fabulous restaurants; family parks such as Folly Farm and Oakwood Leisure Park for a day of fun and excitement for the little ones; exploring the coastal path with some of the best seascapes you will ever see; kayaking around the coastline seal spotting; take a boat trip to see the puffins at Skomer Island (look out for dolphins and seals along the way); or simply relaxing on the golden sands of Broad Haven and take a stroll round to Little Haven at low tide for lunch at one of the pubs.
With an abundance of attractions for all ages within easy reach and stunning beaches on the doorstep, Coed Haroldston is perfect for those who want to explore the area, and those who want to do no more than immerse themselves amongst the stunning Pembrokeshire scenery.
