Enjoy direct views of Bamburgh Castle and the sea from the upstairs living room, and take in the stunning scenery of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a secluded courtyard garden, off-street parking, and dog-friendly accommodation, The Haven is a perfect year-round escape for couples and families alike.
Bamburgh is one of Northumberland’s true gems – a historic seaside village with a mighty Norman castle rising dramatically above the dunes. Spend your days exploring the castle’s battlements, walking the pristine beach, or enjoying fish and chips with a view of the Farne Islands. From here, you can hop on a boat to see puffins and seals in the warmer months, or walk south along the coast to Seahouses or north to Budle Bay. There’s a small village store, tea rooms, and a selection of places to eat and drink – all just minutes from your front door.
Further afield, Northumberland offers something for every interest. Explore the medieval streets of Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens (a must for Harry Potter fans), or take a trip inland to discover the wild beauty of the Cheviot Hills and Breamish Valley. The Haven is arranged over two floors and designed with comfort and coastal charm in mind. Light-filled interiors and considered furnishings make it easy to relax and feel at home.

Outside: The Haven features a private, enclosed courtyard garden with seating, providing a peaceful spot for morning coffee or al fresco dining after a day at the beach. There is parking for two cars.
Additional Information: Complimentary WiFi throughout the cottage. All bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at a cost of £35 for one dog £55 for two dogs. Bookings typically run from Saturday to Saturday, but this may be flexible depending on availability. No smoking.
