Beachside House is located on the cliff top above Wakefield Court beach. The large holiday cottage on the Norfolk Coast sleeps nine with a layout that works well for groups of friends or family who want space to spread out while still spending time together. The house is modern and comfortable rather than showy, with generous living areas, four bedrooms, and an easy flow between inside and out. Days beginning with coffee and sea air and end outside, where the garden bar and games room make it easy to linger longer after dinner has finished and the sun has set.
The nearby villages of Scratby and California are within walking distance and offer everyday essentials, so you don't need to drive anywhere. There's a bakery for daily fresh bread, fish and chips, cafes, small shops, and relaxed places to eat out, including the California Tavern for pub food and live entertainment. Great Yarmouth is only a short drive along the coast. Here, you'll find traditional seaside attractions to suit all ages, long promenades to stroll with an ice cream, and a wide range of things to keep everyone happy on family-friendly days out. Beachside House remains quietly positioned away from the busier stretches - it's a great way to enjoy a classic bucket-and-spade holiday wiht the kids while enjoying peace and privacy.
From the doorstep, guests can head straight along the coast path for long beach walks or turn inland towards the Norfolk Broads, where rivers, reed beds and waterside pubs offer a slower pace. Norwich is around half an hour away for markets, shopping and historic streets, while wildlife parks, coastal nature reserves and small seaside towns make easy day trips. Whether the plan is to explore widely or stay close to the water, Beachside House offers a rare combination of space, comfort and a truly beachfront setting.

Private beachside garden with decking, seating, gazebo and an outdoor bar and games room, opening directly onto the sand. It's a superb spot to enjoy gorgeous ocean views from sunrise to sunset. There is off-street parking for several cars.

WiFi included with utilities, bed linen and bath towels. One small, well-behaved dog is welcome (restricted to the ground floor). Central heating throughout. Short breaks may be possible depending on availability.
