One Chimney is a charming rural idyll in the Kent village of Hollingbourne. The holiday home is ideal for families, with space for four people to sleep in two bedrooms and a nursery suitable for an infant. However, the size and layout also make it comfortable for a self-catering holiday for couples or friends. There are beautiful footpaths from the door and lots of fun and fascinating attractions within easy reach. You're only a mile from two friendly pubs - The Windmill and The Sugar Loaves- serving delicious food and locally brewed ale. If you're currently sitting in a stuffy London office, jump on a train from London Victoria to be here in one hour and 15 minutes.
Hollingbourne is in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The region is famous for its beautiful scenery, easily enjoyed via footpaths from the village, like The North Downs Way and The Pilgrims Way. A favourite local walk is a circular route through woodland and past the Hucking Estate and Eden's Hole. Leeds Castle is a scenic four-mile walk from the cottage if you feel energetic. As well as being the much-loved home of a host of medieval queens, Leeds Castle has 500-acres of parkland, a golf course and a Go Ape activity centre.
The area is packed with family-friendly activities, historical sites, beautiful gardens, and quiet places where you can sit and watch the clouds scud across the sky. Local attractions include the Kent Owl Academy, Cobtree Manor Park, Allington Castle, and the quirky Teapot Island museum by the river in Yalding. Day trips can include sightseeing in historic Canterbury or a day at the seaside at Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Outside: The enclosed garden has relaxed seating where you can watch the children play and admire the rolling rural views.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, and an initial supply of logs for the wood burner are included. Guests will need to bring cot bedding if it is required. Smoking and pets are not allowed at One Chimney.
