Fernhurst Holiday Apartments has been a wonderful part of holidays on the Isle of Wight for generations and is home to Alexandra Apartment and four other welcoming holiday homes. Recently refurbished, these fantastic apartments are in Shanklin, within walking distance of shops, cafes, and Shanklin's beautiful beach. The apartments boast high ceilings, big windows and the elegant proportions characteristic of Victorian buildings and sleep between two and four people individually - perfect for couples, friends and families searching for all the fun of a British seaside holiday.
Shanklin is on the east coast of the Isle of Wight and has all of the amenities that people look for in a self-catering holiday. A promenade follows the length of the long, sandy beach, featuring pretty wooden beach huts, a crazy golf course, an indoor arcade with games, go-karting and other amusements, beach shops selling buckets, spades, inflatables and sticks of rock, ice cream shops and cafes. Shanklin boasts one of the highest average hours of sunshine in the UK, so your memories will literally be golden!
While in Shanklin you can spend sunny days on the beach, paddling and building sandcastles. The cliff-top path has panoramic views towards neighbouring Ventnor and Sandown, or hire a bike and enjoy some of the beautiful cycling trails on the island like the Red Squirrel Trail. Shanklin's attractions include the island's first tourist attraction, Shanklin Chine, a beautiful gorge with waterfalls, shaded walks and pretty picnic spots. Shanklin Olde Village is a collection of thatched cottages, including some of the island's oldest homes, tea rooms and gift shops. A short drive away are places like the Isle of Wight Zoo, Dinosaur Isle, and the Donkey Sanctuary. One of the fantastic features of an Isle of Wight holiday is that nothing is very far from anything else. Even places on the other side of the island, like The Needles, Blackgang Chine and Osborne House, are within easy reach.

Alexandra Apartment is featured in this advert (please see the owners other adverts or website for details on all apartments). Alexandra is the biggest of the five self-catering apartments, sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms. It is on the first floor and includes:
Outside: The apartments have allocated parking and there is a well-maintained communal garden for guests use plus a laundry room with the shared use of a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, sheets and bath towels are included. Guests to provide beach towels if they are required. Short breaks (minimum of three nights) are possible, depending on availability. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
