Fuller's Mill is a wonderful self-catering cottage in the Exmoor National Park, close to the centre of Dunster and within walking distance of the Foresters Arms pub. The three-bedroom property comfortably accommodates up to six people and is ideal for families or friends who want to stay within easy reach of the Somerset coast as well as the best sights and attractions in the area.
Dunster's lengthy history is easily visible thanks to the listed status of more than 200 of its buildings. The medieval castle has dominated the skyline for over a thousand years and remains a favourite attraction in the Exmoor National Park. The High Street has a wide variety of places to eat, drink and shop, and it is a hub for local tour and activity companies who can arrange treats like an Exmoor safari or guided mountain bike ride.
The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, with lots of opportunities to explore on foot, on horseback or by bicycle. Lush countryside rolls its way down to the coast and pretty towns and villages such as Porlock and Watchet. The popular seaside resort of Minehead is only two miles away. As well as having two lovely beaches, the town is the starting point for the South West Coastal Path and the home of the West Somerset Railway, giving visitors even more opportunity to explore this beautiful part of England. The Medieval Cleeve Abbey and Tropiquaria animal park are both within an easy drive, as are Lynton and Lynmouth.
A holiday on the Somerset coast is a timeless pleasure that everyone can enjoy at any time of year, transcending generations and seasons. Fuller's Mill combines old with new to give visitors a chance to enjoy staying in a medieval building that has been sympathetically updated and modernised to appeal to today's visitors without losing any of its original charm and character, just like Dunster itself.
