Dairy House is right on the beach at Ross Bay, accommodating up to five people in three lovely bedrooms with fantastic views. The cottage is on a family-run farm with loads of space indoors and out, making it ideal for couples, families and friends who want the benefit of being mere footsteps to the beach with nothing between them and the breathtaking views. There are three other cottages on the farm which can be booked together with Dairy House to accommodate larger groups of extended family or friends.
Those who have never been to the south-west coast of Scotland will be blown away by its beauty. Quiet roads, open skies, nature reserves and friendly towns and villages make Dumfries and Galloway a fantastic choice for a memorable holiday in any season.
People who can't sit still will find miles of footpaths and mountain bike trails to enjoy, including those at the reputable 7Stanes mountain bike park. There is pony trekking at Brighouse Bay and rock climbing at Miekle Ross, as well as sailing, golf and other outdoor activities. Foodies will love the range of cafes, pubs and restaurants which make the most of delicious local produce in delicious and creative ways, while bird watchers can enjoy spotting red kites, ospreys, kingfishers and dozens of other species. There are historic sites, beautiful gardens, distilleries, shops and a calendar of exciting events celebrating the local customs and countryside.
Staying at Dairy House puts you in the heart of this incredible landscape. The views stretch for miles - even as far as Skiddaw and the Lake District on a sunny day. Visitors can be as active or as lazy as they like, finding their preference well catered for both at the house and through local businesses.
The owners of Dairy House have included those special touches that make it feel like a second home, providing a freshly baked cake and even arranging to take delivery of your groceries before you arrive so that your holiday can get off to the right start.
