The Hideaway is a modern holiday home in Westbourne, one of Bournemouth's most sought-after neighbourhoods, offering spacious and stylish accommodation for up to eight guests. Arranged over three floors, this four-bedroom self-catering holiday home near Bournemouth combines modern design with practical comfort, making it well-suited to families, small groups or colleagues travelling together. Inside, bright interiors and clean lines create a calm and welcoming environment, with a generous first-floor lounge providing a relaxed space to gather after a day out on the coast. The modern kitchen and dining area opens onto a small balcony, which is a lovely spot for morning coffee before you head out for your day of fun and adventure. With three bedrooms featuring their own en-suite facilities and off-road parking for two cars, The Hideaway offers the level of convenience that works equally well for leisure breaks and longer stays.
Just moments from the house, Westbourne itself has plenty to enjoy within walking distance. Known for its lively yet relaxed atmosphere, this popular neighbourhood has become something of a local hub for independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Boutiques, bakeries and wine bars line the streets around Westbourne Arcade, while nearby cafés spill out onto pavements on sunny mornings. A short drive or bus journey brings you into Bournemouth town centre, where miles of sandy beach stretch along the coast below dramatic cliffs and landscaped gardens. The town’s famous pier, theatres and the Bournemouth International Centre host events, concerts and conferences throughout the year, while the BH2 leisure complex provides restaurants and cinema screenings in the heart of town. Whether you prefer a long walk along the promenade or an afternoon browsing local shops, there’s always something happening nearby.
The surrounding coastline and countryside promise even more opportunities to explore. Head west towards Sandbanks to find one of Britain's most famous beaches, with golden sand, calm waters and views across Poole Harbour. From there, ferries cross to the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic cliffs and iconic landmarks such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Poole Harbour itself is a hub for sailing, paddleboarding and boat trips, while the nearby harbour town of Poole delivers historic quayside pubs and waterfront restaurants. Inland, Dorset's rolling countryside is dotted with picturesque villages and walking trails, while the New Forest National Park lies just to the east, where ancient woodland and heathland are home to roaming ponies and deer. With beaches, nature and vibrant towns all within easy reach, The Hideaway provides an excellent base for exploring the south coast.
