Upton Grange Holiday Cottages offer an impressive collection of six, Four Star Gold and Five Star holiday homes ideally positioned within walking distance of the lovely beach at Ringstead Bay on the famous Jurassic Heritage coastline in Dorset.
A jewel in Dorset's stunning crown, Ringstead Bay is beautifully sandwiched between Osmington Mills with the popular cliff-top Smugglers Inn and the dramatic White Nothe Cliff, with an abundance of top attractions close by.
The cottages have been beautifully restored to ensure each offers its own unique charm and a high standard of comfort. Sleeping two to six guests independently or larger parties of up to twenty two when rented together, Upton Grange is a popular choice with couples, families (including extended gatherings) and friends all year round. Close-at-hand, the owners pride themselves on customer care, offering a personal service where nothing it too much trouble. Whether you would like some localised knowledge about the area, a mid-week laundry service (for those staying in the smaller cottages without a machine), or prefer to be left to your own devices, they will go out of their way to make sure your holiday is everything you wish for.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with welcome goodies that are likely to include fresh flowers (or a plant) and a welcome tray so that you can have a cup of tea or coffee whilst unpacking. For those staying for a week or longer, you are treated to a more substantial welcome hamper which will also include goodies from the local farm shop for a cream tea, as well as ingredients for a Continental style breakfast on your first morning, allowing you to relax a little before you start exploring and shopping.
Surrounded by glorious Dorset countryside and coast, Upton Grange sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and assures plenty of peace and tranquility during your holiday. It is a paradise for walkers being so close to the South West Coastal Path. Whether you enjoy a gentle walk or fancy a full day's hike there is something for everyone. For the adventurous, you can walk to Lulworth Cove (approximately seven coastal miles each way!) taking in Durdle Door enroute - two truly magical places amongst the most popular of Dorset's attractions. Bring your bike and cycle the quiet country lanes, go fishing on Wally's Lake or horse riding at Rosewall, or just relax on Ringstead's lovely shingle (and sand when the tide is out!) beach with rock pools the kids will love exploring.
For day trips out, visit Weymouth with more than its fair share of attractions including the three mile beach, Jurassic Skyline for a birds eye view of the coast and Sandworld Sculpture Park (a truly unique type of art gallery that is sure to impress). Poole with its bustling Quay and Harbour is also within easy driving distance, as is Bournemouth, Corfe with its impressive castle ruins and the Isle of Purbeck.
