Clematis Cottage is just perfect for a holiday by the sea. Sitting in the picturesque sleepy little village of Eype on Dorset's stunning west coast, this cosy cottage is beautifully presented in a French country chic style and is within walking distance of the pebble beach and New Inn pub.
Popular with couples and families, Clematis Cottage is just a mile from the market town of Bridport and well placed for exploring the world famous Jurassic Coast and areas many attractions. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it is also ideal for those who simply want to getaway, relax and unwind. The garden with patio is perfect for when the sunshines, the little conservatory offers shelter if the weather is inclement and the log burner beckons on chilly nights, giving Clematis Cottage all year round appeal.
Eype is one of Dorset's best kept secrets - a place often only visited by locals in the know for its quiet secluded beach where you can fish, swim, hunt for fossils or simply relax. For those who enjoy walking, there is access onto the coastal footpath, providing lovely walks to Thorncombe Beacon and Golden Cap - it's a bit of a climb but you will be rewarded with stunning views at the top!
The vibrant market town of Bridport is just a mile from Eype and offers a good selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs; or head slightly further around the coast to West Bay. The seaside village of Charmouth is a little further (five miles) and a popular spot for fossil hunting. Lyme Regis is also within easy driving distance (eight miles) with shops to browse, attractions and places for a meal out (give Hix Oyster and Fish House a try - the sea views are amazing!); or head to the seaside resort of Weymouth with its picturesque harbour, cafes and bars (eighteen miles).
West Dorset is a treasure trove of glorious countryside, beautiful beaches and picturesque villages, just waiting to be discovered.

Outside: There is a garden with terrace (including patio furniture) and lawn area - perfect for alfresco dining and soaking up the beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Off-road parking for one vehicle.
Additional information: Prices include bed linen, storage heating, electricity and towels (please bring your own beach towels). Sorry but no pets and strictly no smoking. Short beaks available out of peak season. A cot, high chair and stair gate can be provided by prior arrangement.
