Chelsea Cottage is a spacious countryside holiday home in the pretty Dorset village of Sydling St Nicholas, offering plenty of room for families and groups to spend time together without feeling on top of one another.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, the house is particularly well suited to extended families, multi-generational stays and groups of friends looking for a relaxed base from which to explore Dorset. There are generous living spaces, a large dining area for everyone to gather around, and a bright conservatory overlooking the garden.
Outside, the private garden gives you space to unwind, with the added bonus of a hot tub for long soaks after a day out exploring. There is also table tennis for a little friendly competition.
The house has been set up with group stays in mind, so there is space to come together for meals, games and evenings in, while still having enough room for people to disappear with a book or enjoy a quieter corner when they want to.
Sydling St Nicholas itself is a beautiful Dorset village surrounded by rolling countryside and walking routes. The village has a traditional pub, The Greyhound, within easy reach of the cottage, making it easy to head out for a drink or meal without having to drive.
Chelsea Cottage is also well placed for exploring more of Dorset. Dorchester is nearby for shops, restaurants and local attractions, while the Jurassic Coast, Weymouth, West Bay and many of Dorset’s best-loved beaches and countryside destinations can all be reached for days out.
Whether you are planning a family celebration, a long-awaited get-together with friends or simply want a comfortable base for exploring Dorset together, Chelsea Cottage offers the space to settle in and make the stay your own.

Exploring Dorset
Chelsea Cottage sits in the heart of Dorset countryside, making it a great base for both rural and coastal days out.
You can spend the morning walking from the village, explore historic Dorchester, head towards the Jurassic Coast or enjoy a day beside the sea at Weymouth. West Bay, Abbotsbury and many of Dorset’s picturesque villages and attractions are also within easy reach by car.
For days when you would rather stay local, Sydling St Nicholas is a lovely village to explore in its own right, with countryside walks straight from the area and The Greyhound pub close by.
Chelsea Cottage gives you the best of both worlds: a peaceful village setting with plenty to see and do across Dorset when you are ready to venture out.
