Previously a dairy parlour, Barncottage is now a single storey cottage with bundles of homely charm. With striking original features, outstanding countryside views and cosy rooms, this is the perfect getaway for a smaller group.
Cottage amenities and features include:
· Comfortably sleeps 4 across one double bedroom and one twin bedroom
· Large glass windowed sitting room with two double sofas
· Elegant dining room
· Beautiful traditional style kitchen
· Cloak room with WC and washbasin then a separate shower room
· Underfloor heating to give a truly luxurious and cosy feel
· Outstanding views across the fields and valley
· Patio space with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining or morning coffee’s
· Ample private parking to the front of the property
We’re able to provide a cot and highchair if required.
A stay at Barncastle wouldn’t be complete without a visit from some of our feathered or four legged friends – don’t be surprised to wake up to a couple of Friesians passing by in the neighbouring field or to some Guineafowls walking through the gardens.

With it’s scenic walking trails and exceptional local pubs, Barncottage is incredibly well located. You’ll be just a stones throw away from the bustling market town of Stroud and a short trip to the breath-taking Gloucester Cathedral or Regency Town of Cheltenham.
In the neighbouring village of Painswick you’ll find coffee shops, the stunning Rococo Gardens, weekly food markets and Thursday evening food nights with a variety of local food traders.

Changeover days are Friday and Monday.
Please note, this is a single storey cottage but there are several steps between the dining room and the master bedroom.
