ARC Painswick is flawless. Recently renovated by award-winning architects, it occupies a prime location opposite St Mary's Church and a stone's throw from the pub in the desirable Cotswold market town of Painswick. This holiday home is ideal for a self-catering holiday with family or friends, with space for 24 people to sleep in nine bedrooms, each with an ensuite or a private bathroom. You can use it to host reunions and milestone birthday celebrations, accommodate wedding parties or guests from out of town, and special events like Christmas.
Painswick was once the most important of all the Cotswold wool towns, and its heritage is evident in the beauty of its architecture. Known for centuries as the "Queen of the Cotswolds", it is a favourite spot for walkers who appreciate its long-distance footpath access to the Cotswold Way. As well as a churchyard renowned for its 99 yew trees, Painswick is home to the oldest bowling green in England. Wander lanes lined with welcoming cafes and inns and charming shops. Alternatively, head for Painswick Beacon or the picturesque Roccoco Gardens on the outskirts of town.
Tour picturesque towns and villages like Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters, and Stow-on-the-Wold, and enjoy local attractions like the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway and Westonbirt Arboretum, the gardens at Highgrove, and Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. You can plan an incredible itinerary of fun during your stay at ARC Painswick. Hire a coach and spend a day at Cheltenham Races or shopping and sightseeing in Bath or Stratford-Upon-Avon. Painswick is half an hour's drive from Cirencester, where you'll find Roman history and the oldest polo club in England. You can also arrange for onsite activities such as private yoga classes, a bartender, and beauty treatments.
ARC Painswick will impress your guests from the moment they arrive, providing a luxuriously relaxed home-away-from-home where you can enjoy time with some of your favourite people.
