Tudor Cottage is a carefully restored holiday home in the Craig-y-Don area of Llandudno, offering comfortable and well-planned accommodation for up to eight guests. Arranged across four bedrooms, the cottage suits families, couples travelling together and small groups who want space to relax without the scale or formality of a large house. One of its strongest assets is location: the beach is less than a minute’s walk away, while shops, cafés and everyday amenities are close enough to reach on foot. Inside, the house has been updated with care, combining modern finishes with original features to create spaces that feel luxuriously lived in rather than a flashy showhome.
The ground floor is designed for shared time. An open-plan living and dining area forms the heart of the cottage, with a beamed ceiling, comfortable seating and direct access to the garden. Light moves easily through the space during the day, while softer lighting in the evenings makes it a calm place to settle after time outdoors. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, laid out so more than one person can cook without getting in each other’s way, and the dining area works just as well for slow breakfasts as it does for evening meals. Outside, the enclosed garden adds another layer of flexibility, with space to sit, eat and unwind, plus a private hot tub tucked away for quieter use.
Craig-y-Don has a distinctly local feel, making it popular with returning visitors to Llandudno. The promenade here is wide and open, ideal for early morning walks or evening strolls, while the paddling pool, park and nearby swimming centre make it particularly practical for families. The main shopping streets, pier and theatre are all within easy reach, but far enough away that the area never feels overly busy. This balance gives guests the option to dip in and out of the town rather than feeling tied to it.
Beyond Llandudno, the surrounding area offers plenty of variety for longer stays. Conwy, with its medieval walls and castle, is a short drive away and well worth a visit, while Colwyn Bay provides a long sandy beach and family attractions. Inland, Snowdonia National Park opens up opportunities for walking, cycling and scenic drives, with Betws-y-Coed a popular stop for waterfalls, forest trails and cafés. Whether the plan is a classic seaside break, active days out or a slower pace close to home, Tudor Cottage provides a practical and well-placed base from which to explore North Wales.
