Stangwrach Cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms and nestles in the heart of Carmarthenshire countryside, surrounded by attractive gardens and wonderful views.

This is a fantastic holiday location for cycling and walking enthusiasts, birdwatchers and photographers. It is also perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, the tracks and trails of the Brechfa Forest for mountain bikers and walkers, visiting historic castles and day trips out to the glorious coastline. Alternatively, just relax and enjoy the beauty of the area!

The accessible cottage sits amongst beautiful dramatic scenery outside Llanfynydd village, twelve miles from Carmarthen (the oldest town in Wales) and seven miles from the vibrant historic market town of Llandeilo (with some great shops to browse!). Centrally located, Stangwrach Cottage is within easy reach of the beautiful Welsh coastline, castles, leisure and animal parks such as Manor Park, the magnificent house and secret gardens of Aberglasney, and The National Botanical Garden of Wales - popular attractions which are all within easy reach.

A delightful 5 Star semi-detached holiday cottage, sleeping 6 guests

Garden-room leading into light spacious open kitchen, dining and living area.
Kitchen with exceptional facilities and decor with views over the patio and the mature gardens.
Large ground floor wet-room with facilities for able and less-able, toilet, hand basin and shower, plus underfloor heating.
Ground floor double bedroom with double-glazed window that allows you to make the most of the fabulous views of the garden and landscape beyond.
Cottage stairs leading up to....
Twin bedroom with two pine beds, along with lovely views of the garden.
Second double room, full advantage of the country views and landscaped gardens. Added bonus of a settee and small Tv, if you need your own space.

Additional information: Electricity is included in the price. Central heating and hot water is included within the price. All bedlinen is provided with duvets (and also blankets) on the beds. Please bring your own towels. The cottage is accommodating for those with limited mobility with some disability equipment available (please feel free to give Grace, the owner a call before booking to discuss your personal requirements). The property boosts a lovely 'garden room' which is comfy and warm, providing a nice place to relax and enjoy the views over the garden - perfect for soaking up the sun in the warmer months and a nice 'bolt-hole' to relax for a quiet moment with a good book when the weather is less favourable. Ground floor is all one level, no steps. High chair provided. Travel cot available on request.

Outside: There is a terrace garden which is level and a good place to relax with BBQ for enjoying balmy evenings. The two acre paddock provides the perfect place for letting off steam with enough room for a good game of footie, badminton, rounders etc (the children will love the swings, twelve foot trampoline and play house).
