Gardener's Cottage is a welcoming retreat for couples, friends or singles, sitting in an idyllic position in the very heart of the glorious rolling Carmarthenshire countryside, in West Wales.
Adjoining the owners property and set within its well maintained gardens, Gardener's Cottage is an excellent choice for those with a passion for cycling, walking, birdwatching, photography or simply getting away from it all and relaxing in a tranquil setting.
Lovingly referred to as 'The Garden of Wales', West Wales has an abundance of attractions with plenty to occupy a full week or two's summer holiday, or a whirl wind weekend away. The vast outdoor playground of the Brecon Beacons National Park is within easy driving distance, as is the Brechfa Forest with first class tracks and trails for walkers and mountain bikers. There are great opportunities for fishing on the Towy and Cothi Rivers; and castles (Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Laurgharne to name just a few), country houses and gardens to visit including Aberglasney Gardens and Medieval House, and the world famous National Botanical Garden of Wales.
Take a nostalgic trip on the Gwillie Steam Railway, or head off to the coast with the golden sands of Mumbles and Gower beckoning. For those happy to travel a little further Tenby's glorious Blue Flag beach is a must to visit, as is the seaside village of Saundersfoot and Llansteffan.
Located on the edge of the picturesque village of Llanfynydd, Gardener's Cottage is only twelve miles from Carmarthen which offers a good choice of shops, and even closer (just seven miles) from the bustling market town of Llandeilo with its lovely riverside setting.
Llanfynydd village itself sits on a river (Sannon) and is home to St Edwards impressive church and the Pen Y Bont Inn where you can enjoy a good pint. (just a short stroll back!). There are also a good number of other restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area for those who enjoy eating out.
The owners are proud to have received Silver for 'Best Self Catering Accommodation of The Year (for three or more units) in the prestigious Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards.

Outside: Gardener's Cottage has a lovely decked balcony where guests can sit in their own privacy and enjoy the beautiful views over the valley, and watch the birds feeding (the owners one friendly rescue cat may visit you to keep you company!).
Additional information: Electricity, central heating and hot water are included in the price. Bedrooms have duvets with linen provided. Please bring your own Towels. This property is perfect for a short break or longer holiday (short breaks available all year round in Gardener's Cottage). Sorry but no are dogs are allowed and the property is not suitable for infants or children.
