The cottage is beautifully presented with lots of character and equipped with all modern facilities. Lovely mezzanine bedroom, looking down into the living area, through beautiful oak beams. The spacious bathroom has a large walk in shower and separate bath. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave and washing machine. There is a small double (4ft) bed settee, ideal for children. We have been welcoming guests here since 2011 and have adopted a friendly, helpful and personal approach. Rated 5* by our guests.
Wilmcote is peacefully situated just outside Stratford upon Avon. The cottage is light, airy and spacious, and comes equipped with all modern conveniences. The lounge leads to a private and enclosed south facing patio. There is ample off road parking available for guests. The village has a pub, a small convenience store and a train station, handy for Stratford town centre, the NEC, Birmingham and London.

The nearby market town of Stratford is an hour’s walk along the canal, a short drive or train ride. It is rich in culture and history and is also famous for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. It is a lovely place for having a stroll along the river, hiring a rowing boat or just meandering around the streets, admiring the many interesting buildings or popping into one of the many cafes. If eating out is your thing, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the many restaurants in the town and surrounding villages.
There is plenty of things to do and see in the local area….the Cotswolds are a 30 minute drive away, the Malvern are just under an hour and there are many golf courses and National Trust properties nearby.
Our short breaks are 3 nights weekend Friday to Monday or 4 nights midweek Monday to Friday costing £325. These are generally not available in high season, but please do ask.
