Blagdon has an excellent village shop with post office and cash machine open 8am to 8pm every day. We are lucky to be close to some lovely country pubs, our favourite being The Plume of Feathers at Rickford, situated alongside a pretty stream with a lovely beer garden and a great menu of home-cooked meals. Blagdon lake is famous for trout fishing, and we can provide details of how you can access fishing on the lake.
