Sacred Spirit was created with a clear purpose: to make a seaside break feel straightforward again for guests who are so often overlooked when it comes to holiday accommodation. Set in Burnham-on-Sea with its own private gated access onto the beach, this single-storey home has been carefully designed to remove the usual barriers and make everyday things feel easier. The owners built Sacred Spirit from personal experience, focusing on the details that really matter when travelling with limited mobility. There's space for up to six guests to include carers, family or friends, and the layout means everyone can share the same space without anyone feeling set apart. You can arrive, unpack and settle in without fuss, then wander down to the beach when it suits you, with the popular Ocean Bar just half a mile away for a waterfront drink and relaxed meal.
Burnham-on-Sea has a relaxed, familiar feel to it. The beach stretches wide and flat, often with that soft sea air and the sound of the tide moving in the distance, and there's usually plenty of space to find your own quiet spot. Along the front, you'll find cafés, small shops and the kind of places you can drop into without planning ahead. It suits slower days. A gentle stroll, something to eat, then back to the house before you realise how much time has passed.
Head beyond the town, and Somerset opens out into something much quieter. The Levels are close by, wide and open with big skies and easy, accessible routes that work well at a gentler pace. Brean Down gives you a different view entirely, with sea on both sides and the wind picking up as you walk higher, while the Mendip Hills offer something a little more rugged if you want it. There are also a handful of easy day trips nearby - the Grand Pier, wildlife parks, small local attractions - but just as often, guests find they don’t need to go far at all. Having somewhere that works properly makes all the difference.

Outside: The enclosed courtyard garden has seating and BBQ. There's another decked seating area for fresh air and downtime. A beautiful sensory garden can also be accessed from one of the bedrooms. The house has private gated access directly onto the beach and parking for four cars.

Bookings are accepted only if at least one member of the group has a disability or reduced mobility. Guests are asked to bring their own slings (spares available if needed). Dog-friendly by prior arrangement. Bed linen, bath towels, utilites and WiFI are included.
