Leat Cottage sleeps up to six guests and is a spacious contemporary holiday home nestling amongst the grounds of the owners smallholding, which is also home to a little herd of pygmy goats. The farm is situated on the fringe of Coleford village and is surrounded by lovely open farmland which is sometimes grazed by visiting sheep.
There is a village pub and also a shop in Coleford which are both within walking distance, as well as a good selection of places for a meal out within just a couple of miles of the cottage. For those who enjoy walking, there are footpaths criss crossing the countryside to explore and also The Colliers way cycle route nearby, giving walking and cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the beauty of the countryside.

Leat Cottage has a spacious open-plan living area with large French doors and windows that let the outside flood in, and take you outside to a patio where many a lazy day can be spent relaxing alongside the river which can often attract visiting wildlife and birds.
The cottage is well equipped and comfortably furnished, with under floor heating throughout the ground floor its great for bookings all year round.
It has three bedrooms, one which is a twin with two single beds and the other two bedrooms have king-size beds (one of these is a ground floor room), thus allowing parties of six to be comfortably accommodated.
Access to the cottage from the parking area is all on one level and there is a downstairs bedroom and shower room with comfort height WC however we have a cubicle shower with a step and no support rails inside it. There is level access to the kitchen/ living area from the ground floor bedroom and shower room. If you would like more accessibility information please make contact
Additional information:
We welcome many families with young children but please be aware that they will need supervision when outside as we have a stream bordering the unfenced garden and a river just across the field
All electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are provided along with a welcome pack for when you arrive. Washing up liquid and tablets for the dishwasher are also provided.

Check in days are usually Thursday/Friday with minimum stay of three nights, for Christmas the minimum stay is four. We have a key box for self check in, we live on site at the farmhouse & usually come to say hello on arrival just to make sure all is ok for you, that said we respect our guests privacy, we are close if you need us but do leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. Sorry this is a pet free property.
