Honeysuckle Cottage sleeps up to five guests and offers the opportunity to get away from it all in a rural setting in Somerset. Sitting on a working farm, this welcoming holiday cottage has three bedrooms (each with a TV) and three bathrooms (one which is ensuite) and nestles amongst glorious rolling countryside with views over the Mendip Hills. Whether you are seeking relaxation, the opportunity to experience country life or want to explore the area, a warm welcome awaits at Honeycroft Farm.
Perfectly placed, the areas many attractions are within easy reach of Honeysuckle Cottage. Wells, England's smallest city with its impressive cathedral, architecture and excellent restaurants is two miles away (or less than an hours walk) and Glastonbury, home to the country's most famous festival is also close by. Steeped in legend and history, Glastonbury Abbey is a 'must', as are the views from the top of Glastonbury Tor if you are up for the challenge of the climb! Other local attractions include Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves (a good rainy day attraction), the hidden gem of Kilver Court Gardens, Clarks Village for some retail therapy and Longleat with its impressive stately home and wildlife park.
Slightly further afield but still within easy reach for a day trip out is the Roman City of Bath, the University City of Bristol and the Somerset coast with seaside resorts like Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea for a bucket and spade day.
For those who like to keep active, the local area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, fishing and shooting and there is a swimming pool at the nearby leisure centre just two miles from the cottage.
Whether you decide to stay put and enjoy the lovely countryside and tranquility surrounding Honeysuckle Cottage, or get out and about exploring, you are sure to have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday when you stay at Honeycroft Farm.
