Many walks from the doorstep. One being the Aberglaslyn, Bryn Du and Beddgelert walk. This circular route allows you to walk through ancient woodland, marvel at mountain views, visit Gelert's grave at Beddgelert and enjoy the spectacular Aberglaslyn gorge.
A short stroll away is 'The Welsh Highland Railway' (WHR) a long, restored narrow gauge heritage railway operating from Caernarfon to Porthmadog, passing through a number of popular tourist destinations including NANTMOR, Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Pass.
Only a short drive away, 10 minutes takes you to the several of the beautiful scenic paths up Wales highest mountain SNOWDON.
Again, a short drive to golf courses, designated mountain bike trails, zip wire experiences & beaches. The many castles, National trust gardens and the world famous enchanting Italianate village of Portmeirion.
