White Cottage is situated between the borders of Worcestershire and Shropshire where a warm welcome awaits guests old and new, guests will be welcomed by Beverley and Des who will settle you into a cosy comfortable cottage with everything you will need for a relaxed stay. The views from the cottage are of unspoilt countryside, in the distance to the right the Malvern Hills, and to the left the Clent Hills, these views can be enjoyed via the terrace with a nice cup of tea surrounded by a profusion of colourful potted plants with a surrounding mature garden, and owners fifty acre small holding with grazing sheep and assorted mature trees, especially Oaks.
A stones throw from the cottage there are two common lands, Cleehill and Catherton ideal for lovely long walks amidst a purple haze of sweet fragrant Heather in the summer, and in late September a palette of cheery yellow Gorse bushes.
White Cottage is central to many interesting places of historic value, there is much to see within a twenty mile radius , Ludlow a much admired town is 7miles, and the small village of Cleobury Mortimer is 3miles. Hopton Bank Garage is half a mile selling the essentials, also for charging electric cars the Coop in Cleobury Mortimer.
Near by we have The Hopton Crown which serves locally sourced Beer and food, there are many other restaurants and cafes within a short distance, plus farm shops serving food and lovely produce to stock up with.
Ludlow famous for it's castle and independent shops and restaurants is roughly 7miles away, further on Church Stretton also known a little Switzerland has interesting independent shops and plenty of places to eat.
After a busy day of exploring what area has to offer there is nothing better than coming home and relaxing in White Cottage.
