The Coach House is a cosy, idyllic rural retreat for couples which is situated in the dramatic and wild scenery of the South Shropshire Hills. Positioned at three hundred metres, it has beautiful views to the head of the valley and is located below the Black Hill. It has recently been modernised and provides a high standard of holiday accommodation which benefits from features such as a wood burning stove, stylish interior and modern facilities.
South Shropshire is one of England's most picturesque areas which is still undiscovered by tourism. Both the beautiful countryside and local towns have changed little over the years. Walking is a major attraction for the area with numerous walks starting from the very door step of The Coach House. There are also plenty of opportunities a little further afield with the Offa's Dyke, Jack Mytton Way, Shropshire Way, Long Mynd and Kerry Ridgeway providing miles of walking routes to explore. For those who enjoy cycling, there are plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful area by bike (cycle hire available locally). The owners are also happy to provide covered bike storage for you of a night.
There are plenty of interesting places to see and attractions in this area including castles such as those at Stokesay, Ludlow and Powis. The area also has its fair share of beautiful gardens including those at Powis Castle, Hampton Court, Dingle Gardens, Hergest Croft and David Austin, famed for its roses.
The towns of Bishop's Castle, Clun and Ludlow all have a great selection of eating establishments with Ludlow being renowned as a foodies paradise.
