Just over a mile away lies the picturesque centre of Ironbridge, home to a delightful collection of independent shops. It’s an enjoyable walk from the cottages along the scenic Severn Valley Way.

We love welcoming dogs to Puddle Duck Cottages, but it may surprise you to know that many of our guests don’t bring pets at all.
We appreciate that some non-pet owners can be hesitant about booking dog-friendly accommodation, which is why our cleaning standards are something we take immense pride in. The cottage is prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail, ensuring it is spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and ready for you to simply relax and enjoy.
Our cottages have received numerous awards outside the dog-friendly category, including Luxury Hidden Gem of the Year 2025 in the LUXlife Travel & Tourism Awards, while our many five-star guest reviews speak for themselves.
So please be assured: dog friendly certainly doesn’t mean compromising on luxury. With or without a dog, you can expect the same immaculate cottage and the same wonderfully comfortable stay.

The pretty front garden overlooks the River Severn and the large patio and rear terraced garden is perfect for some alfrescro dining, enchanced by the bbq oven provided for guests use. The rear garden is directly accessed from the kitchen and living room patio doors.

We offer a set weekend price from Friday to Monday, so while you are very welcome to come for 2 nights, the price would be the same. It does of course give you the added flexibility of being able to relax and enjoy the cottage until as late as you want on the Sunday, to make the most of your stay.
Puddle Duck sleeping up to 6 guests = £1800.00 for 7 nights Mon to Mon or Friday to Friday, £1150.00 for 4 nights Mon to Fri and £875.00 for weekend stays.
Mini Puddle Duck sleeping up to 4 guests = £1625.00 for 7 nights Mon to Mon or Friday to Friday, £950.00 for 4 nights Mon to Fri and £725.00 for weekend stays.
Under occupancy discount available for 2-4 guests.
