Splashpoint has some of the finest views on the North Norfolk Coast. Look at how close to the sea this gorgeous period holiday rental is! With space for four people to sleep in two bedrooms and dog-friendly, it is mere metres from the seafront with uninterrupted water views. If you're looking for a self-catering beach cottage in Sheringham - somewhere you can roll out of bed and onto the sand and fall asleep to the sound of the waves rolling on the shore, you have found it here. Everything you need is a short stroll from the door, including cafes, restaurants, shops and friendly bars and pubs like The Lobster.
Sheringham is a traditional seaside resort town with loads of features that have made it a family favourite for generations. As well as an award-winning beach, there is a long promenade, boating lake, playground, golf course, skate park, leisure centre, amusement arcades, a museum, and a gallery. Walk along the Norfolk Coast Path to Weybourne and Cromer or around National Trust Sheringham Park and Fellbrigg Hall and Gardens. The specialist Muckleburgh museum attracts military enthusiasts from around the country, and a visit to the RNLI Museum is always entertaining. You can visit the Georgian market town of Holt via the heritage Poppy Line steam train or hire a bike to explore at a slower pace. While undeniably livelier between Easter and September, Sheringham has something to offer everyone in all seasons.
Visitors to Sheringham look for a wealth of amenities within easy access, especially if you're on holiday with children. You don't want to be driving through country lanes when faced with hungry children. Sheringham's many shops and takeaways are close by if you need a quick and effortless meal. With pubs and restaurants a few minutes from the door, you don't need to forgo a glass of wine with dinner if you feel like it. The cobbled fisherman's cottage is close to everything, yet because it's not directly on the promenade, you don't have to worry about a stream of people walking past your front window when you're trying to relax.
