Home Farm House is an elegant period property with accommodation over three levels. It is finished and furnished to a very high standard to ensure guests have an exceptionally comfortable stay.

Downstairs:

• Enter into the wonderful reception hall which is big enough to act as a reception room. The reception hall has an ornate inglenook fire place that has been decommissioned and sealed to conserve energy usage, as well as a sofa and armchairs where guests can sit and read or chat.
• Sitting room with leather sofas facing the TV and the log burner. The owners have provided a choice of books and family-friendly games, as well as information about the local area to help plan your next day's adventure.
• Snug with a sofa, books and log burner. It is a great room for the kids to kick back and chill away from the adults, or for the adults to escape their noisy offspring for a bit of peace. The original 15th-Century beams are on display.
• Huge kitchen/breakfast room with feature brick walls and stylish limestone floors. The natural textures have a rustic air, contrasted with contemporary appliances and modern granite worktops. The space is relaxed and welcoming, with a table seating 10 people and a breakfast bar. It is a room where people naturally gravitate to linger over a meal or a board game and there is a Panasonic CD/radio in the kitchen for playing music via your phone.
• Utility room with a double sink, Bosch washing machine, tumble dryer, an iron, ironing board and cleaning equipment.
• Handy boot room with a hose outside to clean off muddy shoes/dogs and space to hang outdoor gear and sports equipment to dry.
• Cloakroom with a WC and handbasin.

Upstairs:

• All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with superior mattresses and quality bed linen to aid a restful night's sleep.
• Two of the three bedrooms on the first floor are lovely double rooms, each with an ensuite including a shower, WC and a feature oak cabinet for the basin.
• Twin bedroom with two single beds, storage and garden views.
• Family bathroom with a freestanding bath and a handheld shower attachment. It is generously sized and the perfect place to soothe tired muscles after a busy day.
• Master bedroom with a king-sized bed and ample storage. The vaulted ceiling and oak beams are a beautiful feature that highlights the age of the property.
• Big twin bedroom with two single beds, storage and a flat-screen TV. As with the other top floor bedroom, the room has oak floorboards and an apex ceiling with exposed beams. The furnishings are brightly coloured to appeal to children.
• Shower room with a shower and a stylish oak cupboard and basin stand.

Outside: The exterior of Home Farm House is no less impressive than the interior. A sunny courtyard has a big table with chairs for ten people and a barbecue. There are two acres of grounds which include an acre of lawns and an acre of paddock, as well as a stream and a pond (children should always be supervised around water). A summerhouse stores outdoor games and furniture and makes a lovely Wendy house for imaginative play. There is lots of off-street parking.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided, as are initial baskets of fuel for the log burner. Smoking is not permitted. Up to 2 dogs welcome at an additional charge of £20 per dog per week. Short breaks are available all year round depending on availability.
