Angel Cottage sleeps two guests and is a nicely presented holiday home in an enviable position within the beautiful Cotswolds market town of Tetbury. Well known for its timeless charm, lovely architecture, impressive church that stands proudly keeping a watchful eye over the town and royal connections as the home to Highgrove, Tetbury is a popular holiday location at any time of the year.
Sitting in a Conversation Area, guests can enjoy a super choice of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops to browse, including antique shops all just a short stroll from the cottage. Why not visit Prince Wales's much loved gardens at Highgrove which is located just outside the town or stroll around nearby Westonbirt Arboretum, a joy to see at any time of the year.
Attractions are plentiful in the Cotswolds and Angel Cottage makes an ideal base from which to explore them. Whatever your interest or age, you will have a great choice of days out. Follow in the footsteps of 'setjetters' and visit Chavenage House (just two miles away) which was at the heart of the recent BBC Drama Poldark and better known as 'Trenwith'; Enjoy watching a game of polo at Beaufort Polo Club (four miles) or a day at Gatcombe Park (five miles) and Badminton (eleven miles) for those who prefer eventing; Take a stroll over Minchinhampton common as the sun sets; Head for the sky with the Cotswolds Gliding club and get a birds eye view of the area; Marvel at Berkeley Castle (eleven miles) or for bird lovers, head for Slimbridge Wetland Centre (fifteen miles) - the choices are endless.
Tetbury is a superb base from which to explore the pretty Cotswold villages and historic towns, each with their own unique charm or alternatively, stay closer to home and enjoy everything this beautiful town has to offer with wonderful countryside to explore on foot, interesting shops to browse and plenty of places to enjoy a long leisurely lunch.

Outside: There is a Cotswold stone patio enclosed by a lovely stone wall with bistro table/chairs and pots with plants and flowers where you can sit out during the warmer months and enjoy a glass of wine.
Additional information: Unfortunately no pets. Babies in arms are welcome. Changeover days are Monday and Friday normally. Short breaks available. Online booking available via the owners site. No smoking. Prices include heating, linen, electricity and towels. Guests have the use of one free parking space in the car park to the Dolphin neighbouring the cottage.
