About Tŷ'r Capel

The Cottage:

Tŷ'r Capel is located in the heart of the village Cenarth. It is only a two minute walk from the historic bridge and falls. It's an ideal location to explore the area.

The cottage is a two-story building, with two patio areas at the back of the house that lead down to the garden and river.

It sleeps four people; 2 in a king sized bed and two on the double sofa bed (see description below in second bedroom). We can also supply a travel cot and high chair upon request.

Dogs: We do welcome up to two well behaved dogs. Please note that the garden isn't totally secure as the river is at the bottom, therefore dogs should be supervised at all times.

Kitchen:

Our kitchen is well equipped with everything that is needed for a hassle free holiday.

Living/dining area:

As you enter the house, you step into our charming living and dining area, where comfort meets style in a compact yet inviting space. The living area features a comfy corner sofa adorned with soft cushions, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. This space also has a smart TV if you would like to cozy up to a film or catch up with the latest soaps.

The dining area, seamlessly integrated into the living space, boasts a quaint solid wood table with seating for four. Whether you're unwinding with a book, sharing a meal with loved ones, or simply enjoying the ambiance, our dining and living area offers the perfect blend of comfort and charm.

Sun room/second bedroom:

At the back of the house we are lucky enough to have our sun-drenched sanctuary, where the indoors blends with the outdoors. This inviting room is bathed in natural light, thanks to its patio doors that offer views of our patio area and river.

The space has a comfortable sofa that invites you to sit back and relax. We have a selection of books and puzzles for you to enjoy or a selection of leaflets of local attractions to visit.

This room can also be a second bedroom. The sofa opens up to a small double sofa-bed. A bedroom/sunroom that offers a peaceful retreat that connects you with nature.

Bathroom:

The bathroom is located downstairs and is thoughtfully designed, where every inch is utilized to create a functional space. The clean lines and neutral colour palette, make it feel open and airy. Soft, fluffy towels are supplied ensuring comfort after your shower. (Shower only).

Main Bedroom:

The main bedroom is situated upstairs. This expansive space features a king sized bed adorned with high quality linens. A spacious wardrobe and a chest of drawers provide ample storage for your belongings. The bedroom also features a smart TV, ideal for relaxing. We can also provide a travel cot if you do have a little one traveling with you.

Parking:

There is room for one car to park outside the house. If you do have a second car, there is usually room to park next to Cenarth chapel which is only two doors down from our cottage.

Outside area:

Our outdoor area is located at the back of the house and can be a sun trap in the summer months. The spacious patio area has a dining table with chairs and invites you to savor al fresco meals or bbqs. The soothing sounds of the river and the lush greenery that lines the banks create a tranquil atmosphere, making the patio and garden the perfect area for relaxation.
