About the local area.
Pentre is a quiet little hamlet tucked away between Chirk and Llangollen. A 2 minute walk leads to a small children’s play park and football field. On your way why not pick up a free book from our mini neighbourhood library at the top of the hill next to the red post box.
No visit to Chirk would be complete without visiting the magnificent 14th century castle and gardens just a 10 minute drive away.
The surrounding area is home to the beautiful Ceiriog Valley described by Lloyd George as "a little bit of heaven on Earth". Here you can enjoy trout fishing, stunning walks and cycling, including the famous Offa's Dyke Path.
Pentre is only five miles from the charming town of Llangollen, with its steam railway, watersports, famous Eisteddfod grounds Castell Dinas Bran, Valle Crucis Abbey and the amazing and scenic natural wonder- The Horseshoe Pass.
Additionally Pentre is just a 2 mile drive to visit the famous Thomas Telford Bridge. Or you can walk along the canal path in approx 30mins.
Pentre Country Studio has all the perks of peace and tranquility whilst having all the advantages of accessing nearby towns and cities via bus, train or car.
