The Old Dairy has been beautifully renovated to provide a gorgeous country retreat in picturesque Pewsey Vale. The two-bedroom self-catering cottage sleeps four people on a family-run horse yard on the edge of Stanton St Bernard in Wiltshire. It's perfect for couples, families or friends, especially those who want a scenic spot from which to enjoy long walks and bike rides through the countryside. There is a small (maximum of five pitches) caravan site on the farm, making The Old Dairy perfect if you want to holiday with extended family and friends who use a caravan.
Pewsey Vale is a rural idyll in the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's incredibly scenic all year round, with each season as beautiful as the next. If you love walking and cycling, this is a fantastic place for your next holiday. There is mile upon mile of designated footpaths, defined cycleways and waymarked bridleways for you to explore, leading to places like Tan Hill, Pewsey Downs, the Roundway Down iron age hill fort, and the Pewsey White Horse. The Kennet and Avon Canal flows close to the farm with an eight-mile stretch between the cottage and Devizes that's especially lovely for walking, cycling or kayaking (you'll need a small craft license if you're going on the water).
Marlborough is just over eight miles from The Old Dairy. The pretty market town has all the shops, cafes, restaurants and other amenities you need for a relaxed self-catering holiday. The High Street hosts a twice-weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday, and history buffs won't want to miss a tour of the 17th Century Merchant's House. You're only half an hour's drive from the ancient site of Stonehenge, 45 minutes from Salisbury and an hour from Bath. Whatever your interest, age or the time of year you're staying, you'll have no trouble packing your holiday with fun.
The Old Dairy is child and pet-friendly, with guests having use of a fenced dog-exercise field so your pups can relax and enjoy themselves too.

The Old Dairy is, as the name suggests, a former farm building that has been given a new lease of life as a very welcoming and comfortable holiday home. Accommodation is over two levels.

Outside: The cottage has a fenced area with bench seating for relaxing outdoors. It is a few steps from the dog-exercise field and there is ample parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all included. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted.
