This is a delightful self-contained and spacious apartment in a sunny location and many guests return year after year. In a quiet conservation area of central Peebles it is very convenient for the High Street and the many delightful walks on Venlaw Hill and along the River Tweed. It is comfortable and warm with fully controllable central heating. The front door opens into a long entrance hall which gives access to the main rooms. There is a king size double bed in a large bedroom, a large spacious dining/sitting room, separate kitchen and separate shower room. A luxury folding guest bed and a cot complete the sleeping accommodation. Comprehensive tourist information is provided and there is a useful lockable outside stone store cupboard for walking boots, pushchair, fishing gear, golf clubs, bicycle etc.

We have enjoyed welcoming guests to this popular holiday apartment since 1994. It is quietly located yet very convenient for the High Street which is only a few minutes walk away alongside the Cuddy Burn from the end of Northgate Vennel. Peebles is a picturesque little town that has many attractions with cultural, music, theatre, arts festivals and sporting events as well as the annual Beltane Festival. There is a wealth of attractive local walks but Peebles is also in an excellent location for exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders and Edinburgh by either car or public transport.
The accommodation is highly recommended by guests and many return year after year. Built in the 19thC as a self-contained apartment, it occupies the entire first floor of a 2-storey stone built house with steps (with handrail) leading to its own front door. The long attractive entrance hall leads to a comfortable 18ft sitting/dining room and a separate well equipped kitchen. The apartment is ideal for two guests with a large bedroom with a kingsize double bed but we also provide a luxury folding guest bed and a cot. The shower room includes a heated towel rail. Comprehensive tourist information, local books, games, jigsaws, TV, DVD player and WiFi are all provided. The centrally heated property is fully controllable by guests. The outside understeps lockable stone store cupboard is ideal for muddy boots, pushchair, fishing gear, golf clubs etc and there is free on-street parking in a quiet cul de sac.
