GREENBANK, set in the Snowdonia National Park locally known as Eryri (Snowdon) is a detached Welsh slate cottage set in the popular village of Betws Y Coed, it sleeps 12 people in six bedrooms, it has an open plan kitchen/dining space with a separate log burning lounge.
Outside there are two patio areas with a selection of comfy patio furniture all facing the Pen Y Rhiwals hills. The property also offers secure bicycle storage for 4-6 bikes.
Amenities in the property: Electric oven, induction hob, air fryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD player. Bed linen. Towels not included. Please bring your own towels, cots, highchairs and stairgates.

The Village: The charming tourist hotspot of Betws-y-Coed is a Welsh village set on the eastern edge of the Snowdonia National Park and on the convergence of the River Conwy and the River Llugwy which flows under the famous Pont Y Bridge.
The village is served by a small railway station on the Conwy Valley Line, opened in 1868, the original stone station still stands and was constructed by local craftsmen. The railway is popular with walkers and mountain bikers alike and set within the boundary of Eryri (Snowdon) National Park the line runs between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog through some of the most picturesque countryside offered by Wales.
Betws Y Coed offers a variety of facilities and activities including a great range of pubs, restaurants and eateries and also a great range of shopping with international outdoor stores, art & craft shops.
Attraction's local to Greenbank are the Swallow Falls an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ffestiniog and Welsh highland railway and Mount Snowdon with its mountain railway and summit visitor centre, all offering panoramic views across the national park.
North Wales coast provides lovely days out for all the family with picturesque villages such as Conwy, Llandudno and Caernarfon which are a short 30 minutes away, where you can explore many historic sites including castles, gardens and beaches.
Portmeirion, an Italian styled village with colourful ornate buildings, gardens and coastal walks which has the ability to transport you back to an age of decadence and exuberance.
For the more adventurous is the Zip World site offering the UK’s first forest roller coaster, zip safari and skyride. Zip World also has Europe’s fastest zip line based in the Penrhyn Quarry.

The internationally renown ‘Plas y Brenin’ National Outdoor Activity Centre offers a variety of outdoor pursuits in a safe family environment with friendly instruction and the latest equipment, with activities from bouldering, rock climbing, orienteering, canoeing, kayaking, mountain walking, scrambling, gorge walking, coasteering, and even raft-building.
For the younger guest to the village is a unique soft play area open daily, offering multi-layered climbing frames, colourful ball pits with vertical elaborate mazes and slides.
