As the name suggests, Castleview Cottage enjoys fantastic views over the castle and is ideally placed within the medieval town walls of Conwy on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Fully renovated, with lots of charm and extra special little touches, what was once a fisherman's cottage has now been transformed into an exceptionally welcoming holiday retreat for two adults and two children. With a private roof terrace for the warmer months and log fire for cosy winter breaks, Churchview Cottage is ideal all-year round for a holiday and perfect for exploring the magnificent mountains and beaches of North Wales.
Located in a quiet side street, Castleview Cottage provides easy access to the towns many amenities and attractions. Stroll out of a morning for your paper and fresh bread or of an evening for your dinner. Spend the days wandering around the harbour, medieval castle and ancient town walls, lazing on the beach or indulging in a cream tea or long lazy lunch at one of the eateries.
Conwy offers the best of both worlds, sitting on the edge the Snowdonia National Park for outdoor activities and within touching distance of some of the areas best beaches. Whether your passion is walking, climbing, bird-watching, splashing around on the water or simply spreading your towel out on the sand and relaxing with a good book, Conwy ticks all the boxes and has wide appeal.
Easily accessible, Conwy is a popular choice with those who prefer to leave the car at home. Hop on a train from London Euston to Conwy and then it is just a short walk from the station to the cottage. There is also a national and local bus service (you can take a bus to nearby Llandudno) just yards from the cottage, making it a perfect holiday destination for those without a car.
Other attractions and places of interest locally include: A multiplex cinema as well as a leisure centre (five minutes away in the car); Bodlondeb Park with its play areas for the children, bowling green, and free tennis courts (just a hundred yards from Castleview Cottage); or venture further afield and discover the splendour of the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno (ten minutes drive) where you can wander the promenade (ice cream in hand!), ride a donkey on the beach, take the historic tram to see the Great Orme or try ski-ing on the dry ski slope. There are also gardens to visit like Bodnant just fifteen minutes away and adventure activities like Zip World and Surf Snowdonia 20 minutes by car; two golf courses for those who fancy a game; an RSPB nature reserve and even day trips to Dublin in Ireland from Holyhead.
Whether you want to simply relax, be active or get out and about discovering the very best of attractions in North Wales, Castleview Cottage is a welcoming retreat to return home to at the end of the day.
