Otterburn Cottage is a modern self-catering holiday cottage in Lower Breakish on the beautiful Isle of Skye. It's less than 50 metres from the shore and has easy access to breathtaking views across Broadford Bay to Raasay and Pabay. The holiday rental has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. With space for a travel cot, it's perfect for families of all ages and also suits couples and friends who love the comfortable accommodation and fantastic location ideal for exploring Skye and Wester Ross.
Lower Breakish is a quiet village three miles from Broadford, where you'll find several restaurants,a pizza restaurant, pub, fish and chip shop, supermarket, a 24-hour service station, and a variety of independent local businesses to make your self-catering stay easier. The cottage has secure storage, so you can bring your bicycles, SUPs, fishing rods, golf clubs and other sporting equipment to make the most of this fantastic landscape. Bring your binoculars to catch sight of seals, oystercatchers and herons. You may even see the otters after which the cottage is named, splashing in the stream beside the house or in the sea.
The Isle of Skye will take your breath away with its astounding beauty that has remained unspoiled by development the way so much of the mainland has. It's 50 miles long, but you'll need to take your time exploring as there is so much to see. Places to see include the capital town of Portree, around 40 minutes from Otterburn Cottage. Drive north to Edinbane, Dunvegan, Uig and Staffin, stay in the island's south and visit Kyleakin, Elgol, Armdale and Carbost. Brave the cold for the experience of swimming in Skye's famous Fairy Pools or admire the view from the bank. Experience climbers can challenge themselves to reach the summit of Bla Bheinn, while less advanced hikers will appreciate a stroll from the cottage and along Ashaig Beach.
Otterburn Cottage is superbly furnished and equipped for a relaxing holiday in any season. The owners also have a comfortable glamping pod sleeping two people - ideal if you want to holiday with friends but not share a house.

Otterburn Cottage is a new build detached holiday home close to the water. Accommodation is all on ground floor level with WiFi and electric heating throughout.
Outside: The garden has a lawn and a bench to sit and admire the panoramic views. There is off-street parking and secure bike storage.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests to bring cot bedding and beach towels if necessary. Smoking , use of candles and pets are not permitted.
