Mill House is a fantastic holiday home where you, your family and your friends can enjoy time together in spectacular surroundings a few miles from Crieff. As part of the historic Monzie (pronounced "Monee") Estate, the cottage sits in 4,000 acres of prime Perthshire scenery, including Monzie Castle, the seat of the head of Clan Crichton. Spend happy days walking, cycling, fishing or playing golf before returning to the spacious stone house, which comfortably accommodates up to ten guests in five beautifully decorated ensuite bedrooms.
Crieff is a friendly Highland town that appeals to visitors for its excellent amenities and its adventurous soul. There is a good choice of places to eat and drink, supermarkets, independently owned delis, bakeries, and the Glenturret Distillery, where they make whisky in the traditional way. What more could you want for your self-catering holiday than the ingredients to cook up a storm at your cottage and the option of dining out and letting someone else take care of the cooking? Grab some fresh sandwiches and cakes for a picnic and walk along the River Earn before settling in MacRosty Park to eat while the kids make the most of the playground.
Perthshire is synonymous with great golfing, so don't forget your clubs if you love to play. There are seven courses within half an hour of the Monzie Estate, including the iconic greens at Gleneagles. Fishing, swimming and sailing are readily accessible at Loch Monzievaird, Loch Tay and Loch Earn. You can follow the River Tay to the Irish Sea and the beach at Newburgh, just over half an hour's drive from The Mill House. There are beautiful walks and mountain bike trails from the door, with endless miles more in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, around 20 miles away.
The Monzie Estate is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors or looking at a gorgeous view from a comfortable sofa. A holiday here lets you be a part of Highland history, even if only for a week. The mix of traditional and contemporary Scottish styles will be the backdrop for one of the best holidays of your life.

Mill House is a spacious detached house with no passing traffic and no immediate neighbours. It's finished and furnished to a very high level to create the atmosphere of a boutique country hotel with the space and warmth of a private home.

Outside: The Mill House has spacious gardens with a stream, a stone packhorse bridge, and beautiful views. There is ample parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, fuel for the log burner, bed linen and bath towels are all included. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. The property is not suitable for hen or stag parties. Smoking indoors is not permitted
