Brickley Rise is just the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. Sitting in an idyllic position in a highly desirable part of North Norfolk close to Sandringham Estate and the coast, this delightful holiday home sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms (two are en-suite). A perfect choice for a few nights away or longer holiday with short breaks offered all year round.
Surrounded by two acres of private gardens (enclosed), Brickley Rise was once the laundry cottage for the Ingoldisthorpe Hall Estate and today provides stylish self-catering with lovely views from every room. With a well equipped and social kitchen, dining room perfect for celebratory meals, welcoming sitting room where you can relax in front of the electric 'log effect' stove, and additional sitting room where the children can play without interrupting the adults, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax in comfort. The outside is every bit as appealing and offers guests peace and privacy in a wooded setting.
Norfolk is a simply stunning county and holiday destination which is not only popular with the locals but also an abundance of wildlife, tourists and even the Royals! Bird watchers have some of the country's finest nature reserves such as The Wash and nearby RSPB Snettisham; walkers and cyclists have miles of Heritage Coastal Path to explore (bike hire available locally); Royalists are sure to love looking behind the doors of Sandringham; and beach lovers will be smiling from ear to ear at the sight of vast empty golden beaches like Hunstanton, Brancaster and Holme.
Visit Holkham Hall (another of Norfolk's impressive estates) and then blow the cobwebs away with a walk along the beach to Wells-next-the-Sea (there's a great cafe waiting for you at the other end!). Take a nostalgic trip on the Poppy Line from the Georgian market town of Holt - a wonderful way of soaking up the stunning scenery enroute to the seaside town of Sheringham. Train enthusiasts will also want to visit Wolferton Railway Station. Without any tracks, this royal station has been beautifully preserved and is one of the most magical small museums in the country.
Whether you want to be lazy, active or get out and about exploring on holiday, North Norfolk has something for everyone and Brickley Rise is the perfect place to enjoy it all.
