Blackbirds feels so hospitable that it's almost like staying with your favourite family members. The detached holiday cottage is a warm cocoon of comfortable soft furnishings, gentle neutral shades, lots of natural light and leafy forest views. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Bransgore, it feels blissfully peaceful and private, yet is within strolling distance of a cafe, bakery, small supermarket, The Three Tuns and two other pubs serving food. There is space for six people to sleep in three bedrooms, with excellent self-catering facilities for cooking tasty family meals to eat in the dining area or the private garden.
Bransgore is on the western edge of the New Forest National Park, straddling the border between Hampshire and Dorset. It's a top choice for a family self-catering holiday as it gives excellent access to the woodlands and chocolate-box cottages of the New Forest while being within easy reach of Christchurch, Bournemouth, and many beaches. The village once had a thriving brick industry and dates back to Saxon times. A scenic walk leads from the cottage north to Thorney Hill, Vereley Hill and Picket Plain via the Dur Hill enclosure and Kingston Great Common. You can also walk or cycle the three miles to Burley to pick up the Burley Food Trail, take a New Forest Deer Safari, or enjoy a fun wagon ride. Ringwood is a 15-minute drive away, with more shops, tea rooms and amenities. Main supermarkets deliver to the address as well as a number of local restaurants.
Alternate days in the New Forest with days at the coast, swimming, surfing and sailing to your heart's content. Discover many local beaches, from busy seaside resorts to quiet coves. Days out can also include sightseeing at local attractions, horse riding, golf, and fishing. With holiday bookings available all year round, you'll always find time to take a break in this relaxed and beautiful part of England.

Blackbirds is a spacious detached single-storey holiday home with an enclosed garden and off-street parking. Being on a residential cul-de-sac means there is no passing traffic to disturb your peace.
Outside: The enclosed garden has a patio, outdoor lighting and seating for six people. There is parking for several cars.
Additional Information: Utilities, fibre optic WiFi, a welcome basket of logs, bed linen and bath towels are included. A high chair and travel cot are available with guests to provide cot bedding. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement and the owner has a large dog crate/cage that can be available if required. There is an additional charge of £25 per week per dog. There is a breakage security deposit of £300.
Smoking is not allowed in any areas at Blackbirds.
