The Old Barn
This luxury barn conversion is beautifully furnished with an oak beamed interior which compliments this original island stone barn, set in a quiet farm location with shared outside Hot Tub in the beautiful West Wight countryside.
There are two spacious bedrooms on the first floor with amazing oak framed interiors, one with a king size leather sleigh bed the other with twin similar style beds. The barn has an impressive contemporary bathroom featuring a roll top bath and seperate shower. There is underfloor heating throughout the first floor, kitchen and downstairs utility room making it feel very warm and cosy.
The front entrance opens onto a galleried dining hall, this area is open-planned and leads onto the stunning well equipped kitchen with floor level LED lighting and ample worktop space featuring a breakfast bar, and intergrated fridge/freezer and dish washer. On the other side is the comfortable lounge with leather settees, which has a 50" Tv with freeview and blu-ray player.
The dining room area overlooks the garden through bi-fold doors that completely open back and lead out onto a garden area with table and chairs and a large shared courtyard.

The West wight is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has coastal paths which are a haven for walkers and cyclists, plus walks can also be enjoyed across to the nearby Tennyson Down, which makes Yarmouth an ideal base as its close to Freshwater Bay and Alum bay with its famous coloured cliffs.
Once you are on The Island there are many attractions inside and out; over 500 miles of footpaths, stunning scenery, secluded sandy beaches and brilliant attractions, including the historic Carisbrooke Castle, Osbourne House, Isle of Wight Zoo and the Botanical Gardens to name but a few. We recommend Tapnell farm a short 5 minute drive away from us and Blackgang Chine for adventure fun in a wholesome style for children of all ages.
