The Lewis Longhouse is a luxurious home-from-home, close to the beach in an area of peaceful, natural beauty. We believe it is a special place to relax and want the experience always to exceed expectations for our guests.
In an idyllic location to explore history, culture and wildlife, and just a few minutes walk from the most local beach, the house has wide, uninterrupted views to watch the world go by and weather change throughout the day, a special place to escape and relax.
This stunning, low-impact building is a modern take on traditional Lewis houses, comfortable in its surroundings, but with contemporary design and energy-conscious technology to make your stay a pleasure. It is fully equipped to the highest standard with all you need for a perfect stay.
The spacious double–height open plan living/dining/kitchen area has large windows bringing the outside in and glass doors opening south onto a large wraparound deck. Upstairs is a quiet relaxing area upstairs with an unusual viewing balcony and wifi-connected office space.
The Longhouse is our luxurious holiday home-from-home on the Isle of Lewis built on an old family croft near the beach. Step out the door for great local walks along the beach or over moor. Enjoy it too as a great base to explore the wider sights of Lewis and Harris.
