Little Hill Farm Villa is tucked along a quiet country lane near St Leonards, just outside Ringwood, where the New Forest begins to edge into the Dorset countryside. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, the villa suits families, mixed-generation holidays or groups of friends who want somewhere convenient, comfortable and well located for getting out and exploring. Inside, the rooms are bright and modern, with furnishings that are stylish yet practical, and there’s a relaxed feel throughout that makes it easy to settle in quickly. French doors open onto both front and rear gardens, giving the house a light, airy atmosphere in warmer months, while the spacious kitchen and sociable dining area make it equally suited to slower weekends spent indoors. Guests also have access to a private enclosed field a short walk away, useful for children wanting space to play football or fly kites, and ideal for exercising a dog away from roads and traffic. The Woodman pub is a half-mile stroll, while supermarkets, shops and essentials are all within a short drive.
There's an enormous amount to do nearby, particularly for families who like active days out. Moors Valley Country Park (15 minutes away) is easy to lose an entire day in, with woodland cycling trails, walking routes, Go Ape, play areas and miniature railway rides. Avon Heath Country Park offers quieter heathland walks and picnic spots, while East Moors Equestrian is within walking distance for horse riding and trekking. Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, is a straightforward 30-minute drive for those with younger children. Local beaches are also within half an hour, and Bournemouth's beaches, pier and seafront attractions are close enough for easy day trips without needing an early start. Snowtrax Alpine Activity Centre adds skiing, snowboarding and tubing into the mix, while New Forest Water Park is popular in summer for inflatable obstacle courses, paddleboarding and wakeboarding.
The wider area opens up even more possibilities. The New Forest itself is full of walking and cycling routes, wandering ponies, traditional pubs and villages where independent shops and cafés still outnumber chains. Beaulieu's National Motor Museum makes a good rainy-day option, especially for car enthusiasts, while the Tank Museum at Bovington is within reach for a longer outing. Market towns including Ringwood, Wimborne and Lymington host regular street markets and farmers' markets throughout the year, and seasonal events such as the Bournemouth Air Festival, New Forest Show and Lymington Seafood Festival bring plenty of atmosphere during summer stays. Guests wanting a balance of coast, countryside and family attractions won't struggle to fill a week here.
Ringwood is one of the larger hubs in the New Forest and is well served by local buses with a stop a short walk from the cottage door. Guests receive the Go New Forest Card, which offers discounts on local attractions and activities.

Accommodation comprises: Little Hill Farm Villa combines generous living space with practical, family-friendly touches, giving groups of up to 8 guests plenty of room to spread out after busy days exploring the New Forest and the coast. The house is accessible to guests who use a wheelchair, with one small step at the entrance.

The villa has enclosed front and rear gardens with lawns, patio seating and mature hedging for privacy. The rear patio catches the sun nicely on warmer days and works well for outdoor meals or an evening drink. Guests also have use of a separate enclosed field a short walk down the lane, giving children space to play and dogs room to stretch their legs safely away from traffic.
Additional Information
One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement. Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. A travel cot and a highchair are available - please request these when booking. Guests are to bring cot bedding, beach towels, and dog towels if required.
