Tertre Farm Holiday Homes occupy an enviable location on the beautiful island of Guernsey. Created from the listed stable block of a 15th Century farmhouse, each stone holiday cottage is a wonderful example of style and function where couples, families and friends can make the most of the many delights of L'Ancresse Bay and the wider area. The cottages sleep two, three or four people and can be booked independently or together to accommodate extended families and groups of friends. A supermarket, butcher and other amenities, including the Bridge shopping centre are within walking distance.
L'Ancresse Bay is on the north coast of Guernsey. It's a blissful sight of soft sandy shoreline and sparkling turquoise waters. Guernsey is one of the sunniest parts of the British Isles and, with average temperatures warmer than the UK, it's almost always a great day for the beach. When combined with Pembroke, the beach at L'Ancresse is the longest on the island and perfect for swimming, sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing. Pembroke Bay is good for surfing. L'Ancresse Golf Club has an 18-hole course that's the oldest in Guernsey. Cycling is another excellent way to enjoy the beauty of your surroundings, especially around the north and west, where the island is mostly flat. The Ruettes Tranquilles - the scenic country lanes where cyclists, horse riders and pedestrians have priority over cars - and dedicated cycling routes are accessible from Tertre Farm, and you can hire bicycles locally. Being just nine miles long and five miles wide makes it easy to see everything.
Guernsey is a gorgeous holiday destination for anyone, whether you want to be active or not. In addition to beautiful scenery and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle, Guernsey also has luxurious spas where you can indulge in pampering treatments and fantastic restaurants serving local seafood and food grown on the island. Walk around the medieval lanes of St Peter Port, the island's capital, stopping at the Priaulx Library to learn more about Guernsey's fascinating history. Other attractions include Castle Cornet, Sausmarez Manor, Wheadon's gin distillery and the Rocquette cider orchards. Go island-hopping on a ferry or get your thrills on a fast-paced RIB tour.
With a choice of four lovely holiday cottages, Tertre Farm is welcoming for couples, families and friends all year round.
